Hardware Problems

If your machine is in serious trouble and is crashing either when you start up or intermittently, then you may have hardware problems.

IT home is able to access the level of damage and work with you to arrive at a workable solution.

If the machine is in warranty then we backup all your important information and files (including email and address books) before it is sent back to manufacturer. When machines are returned their supplier for repair, all information must be backed up as there is no guarantee you will have the same machine returned to you.

When the pc is out of warranty then a important decision needs to be made - is it worth repairing?

IT@home will look at the machine and advise you on the full costing of the repair to see whether it is financially viable to go ahead with the repair or whether to take the information off the machine and replace it.
